Midfielder Barry Robson returns for Boro after missing the last two games with a hamstring problem. Chris Riggott (hamstring), Jeremie Aliadiere (ankle) and Rhys Williams (pelvic injury) are all doubts, while Isaiah Osbourne is carrying a knock.
