Midfielder Barry Robson returns for Boro after missing the last two games with a hamstring problem. Chris Riggott (hamstring), Jeremie Aliadiere (ankle) and Rhys Williams (pelvic injury) are all doubts, while Isaiah Osbourne is carrying a knock. City boss Gary Johnson could ring the changes after the 6-0 home defeat to Cardiff in midweek. Lewin Nyatanga, Evander Sno, Marvin Elliott and Ivan Sproule all look like coming in.
