Galea assisted Woods in overcoming his knee injury in 2008, using some of his perfectly legal medical jiggery-pokery - there's no suggestion that the techniques utilised by Woods were dodgy. However, Galea is now being investigated in the US for allegedly giving illegal, performance-enhancing substances to some athletes. Woods' agent Mark Steinberg even emailed the New York Times to ask the paper not to make the link with Woods, saying "if Tiger is not implicated, and won't be, let's please give the kid a break."
